It’s one of the biggest expos and we always meet so many new business owners and it’s great to catch up with everyone else we see at the other expos and catch up with them to see how business has been. Each year, over 12,000 SMEs from the UK attend these regional events to network, conduct business and find new suppliers. The expos have gained the respect of the wider business world with repeat exhibitors and sponsors, including Barclays Bank, Lexus, Lloyds Bank, Just Cash Flow PLC and Vodafone. The first event of the year will take place in Wales at the All Nations Centre in Cardiff on March 31. Further expos will take place throughout the year in London, Bristol, Reading, Swindon, Birmingham and Manchester.

Paul Day, technical director of one of the UK's leading document management specialist company Filestream, is taking part in the world’s first-ever Skyscraper Challenge in London on Saturday September 9. The challenge takes place at two iconic skyscrapers – The Cheesegrater and The Gherkin. All participants will run up the 42 floors of The Cheesegrater, followed by the choice of either abseiling 200 metres back down to ground level or taking a zip wire across the London skyline to The Gherkin. 600 people taking part in the event will be raising money for Tommy’s, a charity committed to saving babies’ lives by funding pioneering research and supporting families through every aspect of the pregnancy journey.

There is a lot happening for Filestream over the next couple of months and as a team we’re really excited about it. March is the start of the team being in our new offices. It’s been a lot of late nights and long days full of furniture building and getting everything prepared but we’re in now and it’s great to have a new space that our team loves. It’s also the start of a busy schedule for some of our team.
